Symptom
Is it possible to generate the SSL Certificate based on the previously obtained CSR. If using option 2, is there a way to get the private key for an old CSR?

Resolution
We do not support reusing the same CSR any more. It is required to create a new CSR and then generate the SSL based on the CSR . It is not possible to use the old CSR to generate the SSL. Also private key cannot be generated for an old CSR. It gets generated with the new CSR generation.
Please generate a new CSR in CSB or independently and procure a new certificate (with private key if generated outside of CSB).Option 2 enables customers to upload an SSL certificate (e.g. wildcard certificate) along with the private key that is obtained using their own CSR. Private key is included or obtained when the CSR is generated. Due to that, it's not necessary to request a Private Key. You can just provide the CSR to your IT team cause the private key is already included in it. The "Private Key" is needed from the vendor. The CSR is not a private key file. However, when you generate the CSR through CSB, the IT team doesn't need a specific file for a private key as this CSR will work as both CSR and Private Key. And that Private key is provided from the vendor. Generated CSR must be sent to the Certificate Authority so that they can provide the Private key.
