3604098 - Error: "You do not have access to edit this job. Contact the connection owner '[connection owner name]' and ask them to give you access to '[connection name]'" when attempting to edit an import job schedule settings in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• When trying to edit an import job schedule settings, get the following error:
  You do not have access to edit this job. Contact the connection owner '[connection owner name]' and ask them to give you access to '[connection name]'.
  
  
• The user is the owner of the connection and model.
• The issue doesn't occur for a System Owner.
• This problem arises in a Planning model, while it does not occur in an Analytic model.

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 2025.1

1. Log in to SAC.
2. Navigate to the import connection model.
3. Click on Data Management and create an import job using that connection.
4. The error "You do not have access to edit this job. Contact the connection owner '[connection owner name]' and ask them to give access to '[connection name]'" appears when editing the import job schedule settings.

• Modifying the import job schedule settings for a Planning model requires the "Maintain" privilege for Planning model.
• The user does not have the "Maintain" privilege for Planning model.

1. log in to SAC.
2. Click on Security-> Roles->select the role assigned to the user.
3. Check "Maintain" privilege for Planning Model.

Please Note: Activating the "Maintain" privilege requires a Planning license to be assigned to the user, without planning license, the "Maintain" privilege cannot be checked.
