3604107 - How to report the calculated result of a Time Type Group in Time Sheet

This KBA explains how to report the calculated result of a time type group in timesheet.

The calculated value of a time type group is reportable in the following scenarios: 

• Set the Time Type Group field "Time Pay Type" as Yes, then the calculated result can be reported via object Employee Time Sheet's association: Employee Time Valuation Result.
• Set the Time Type Group field "Time Collector Type" as Yes, then the calculated result can be reported via object Time Collector. 
• Set the Time Type Group field "Time Container Type" as Yes, then the calculated result can be reported via object Time Container. 

Note: 

• Before creating new Time Collector and Time Container for reporting purpose, please first consider using standard report such as New Reporting Capabilities for Absences and Attendances in SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking. It's possible to create the calculated column in canvas and story reporting to achieve basic calculation like deducting break from attendance. 
• A time type group can't be both a time collector and a time container.
• Time container is only available with SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking subscription.
• For performance reasons, a time recording profile can hold a maximum of 13 time collectors. No more than 3 out of the 13 can be Daily time collectors. The permitted total number of weekly or monthly time collectors is 10.
• Only 10 daily Time Containers are allowed in a Time Recording Profile. 
• Only 5 flexible period Time Containers are allowed in a Time Recording Profile.
