Symptom

  • In SAP S/4HANA, service confirmation cannot be closed if an unused Purchase Order (PO) is in place.
  • This issue arises when parts are purchased beforehand on the service order but are not used.
  • The PO remains in the status 'released' and the service order cannot be closed.
