3604298 - How to Download and Update Appointment Template Metadata to Include the New "Notes" Field in PDF Output

You want to display Internal Comments using the new "Notes" field in the Appointment PDF, but the field is not available in the current Template. 

• SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
• SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

1. Go to the User Menu.
2. Select Settings > All Settings.
3. Search and Open Maintain Form Template under Output Management.
4. Expand Appointment and SAP-Appointment-PreDeliveredTemplate.
5. Download the latest Template for the desired language.
   
   
6. Two files will be downloaded: a .xsd and a .xdp file.
7. Open Adobe LiveCycle Designer and go to DataView tab.
8. Right-click the Data Connection and select Connection Properties.
   
   
   
   
   
9. Click Next.
   
   
   
   
10. Select the downloaded .xsd file and click Finish.
    
    
    
    
11. The new Notes field will now appear in the designer. You can bind this field to display internal comments using the note type "internal".
12. The Notes field is an array (Hypernote), so use a list to display multiple note entries appropriately.
