3604347 - Employment Status in Job Information Not Updating in Real-Time - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• In SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, the employment status in job information does not update in real-time according to the employee's local time zone.
• The issue occurs even after changes have been made in the HRIS Sync job from the Provisioning side by enabling the option "Use the local time zone of the user to set the effective start date."
• The employee status on the Job Information page does not update immediately after the employee becomes inactive in the system. 
• Employee Profile Status is updated in real-time as per the HRIS Sync Job configuration.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. An employee raises a resignation request.
2. All approval steps are completed successfully.
3. The employee becomes inactive in the system as per last working date and time zone.
4. However, the Employee Status on the Job Information page does not update immediately.

Employee Central portlets will respect the Effective Date of the instance, which is according to the Data Center.

To check the time zone of the system, click on "Show Version Information" under the picture icon in the right up corner of the system.

As the user will be inactive as per their time zone, they will not be able to login in the system after the termination is approved.
