Symptom
- Despite the field not being mandatory, the error message "You do not have permission to edit this value" appears when no attachment is uploaded in the National ID section.
- This behavior is consistent in both the Employee Profile and Add New Hire, regardless of the Country chosen, even with the correct ID format.

Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the National ID portlet.
- Fill in all details.
- Click on the Attachment button.
- Do not attach any document and click finish.
- Click Save.
- The error message "You do not have permission to edit the value. Please contact your system administrator" will appear.
Cause
Resolution
- The issue is currently under investigation and will be addressed in the 2H2025 release.
- As a workaround, users can close the dialog and open it again, fill up the fields without clicking the attachment button, and save it instead.
