3604543 - Primary site attemps to connect to the secondary site despite the IP address of the secondary site has been modified

Symptom

  • After updating the secondary site's IP address in the global.ini file and attempting to register with the primary site, the primary site continues to try connecting to the secondary site using the old IP address.
  • You find the following error message in the traces:
[32056]{-1}[-1/-1] 2025-04-30 17:31:50.194879 e sr_nameserver    DRClient.cpp(00849) : Could not reach any host of site '2' to send request 'dr_getservers'. Hosts: (<old ip address>:41002) Errors:
nameserver communication error;internal error(5500)
