3604844 - Incorrect Update of Last Modified Date in Role Assignments - Latest Role-Based Permissions Pages

• An issue arises when a minor change is made to the role, such as updating the role description.
• The last modified date updates to the current date on all role assignments, even though the role assignment was not altered.
• This issue is the exact opposite of the one described in KBA 3544379 - Last Modified Date not updated with change in Role Assignment - Latest Role-Based Permissions Pages 

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite

1. Make a minor change to the role, such as updating the role description.
2. Observe that the last modified date updates to the current date on the role Page but also on all role assignments.

• The issue arises from the fact that the role assignment was created in the legacy UI.
• In the legacy UI, the role assignment does not have a specific name and lacks an independent last modified date.
• As a result, the last modified date for the role assignment defaults to the date associated with the role.

1. Identify the role assignments created in the legacy UI. These can be identified by a name like "No Name (Click “Edit” to get a system-generated name for the assignment.)".
2. Edit the identified role assignments in the latest UI.
3. Post-editing, the issue of incorrect update of the last modified date should no longer occur.
