3605154 - How to Change the Range of Start / End Date While Creating New Lead

While creating a New Lead, the Start Date is creation date and the End Date is exactly after 30 Days and it's automatically determined.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Marketing work center
2. View: Common Tasks
3. Sub-view: New Lead
4. Start Date is creation date (06-05-2025) and the End date(05-06-2025) will be exactly after 30 days.

The current system behavior is dependent upon the settings made in the Business Configuration Activity "Date Profiles".

Please follow below steps to review and change the configuration:

1. Go to the Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects View.
3. In the field Show, select all Current Projects.
4. Select Project and choose Open Activity List button.
5. In the field Show, select All Activities then find "Date Profiles" activity and choose Go.
6. Open the activity Date Profiles.
7. New window opens up, here you can see Lead Validity = Creation Date + Number of Days is maintained as 30 Day(s).

Under Leads, you can maintain number of days required as per business requirement in the section Lead Validity = Creation Date + Number of Days. For ex. Start Date = Today's Date, End date = Today's Date + Y Day(s).

Note: The changes made here would be applicable on the leads created and won't be restricted to particular one.
