3605258 - PCC-The posting step is not executed

Symptom

 When attempting to execute the posting step in PCC, the step fails and will not be carried out.

Environment

  • Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • SAP enhancement package for SAP ERP

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to execute the posting step.
  2. Notice that there is no program details available in posting step.

Cause

 The issue caused due to the use of an improper variant configuration in the program RPCIPE01. Specifically, the Posting Variant is set to 'SAP', which results in an error message: 3G337, stating "Country grouping from posting variant SAP is not permitted."

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ensure that the Posting Variant you are using is appropriate for your country. Adjust the configuration in RPCIPE01 to use the correct Posting Variant that aligns with your specific country requirements.
