Symptom
- Story designers are now able to use the widget Styling and Builder Panel to configure Composite properties and underlying models within optimized stories since SAC 2025 QRC2 update
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.8
Resolution
- Since 2025 QRC2, story designers are now able to configure Composite properties in widget Styling Panel and configure Composite underlying models in widget Builder panel within optimized stories, aligning with the approach used for other widgets in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- This feature would enable designers to access all necessary tools and settings from a centralized location, reducing the need to navigate between different panels and making the design process more efficient.
- To replace model or objects used by composites in stories, ensure that Disable “Manage Models” for story designers isn’t selected in Composites Global Settings.
- For detailed information, please also refer to help document Replace Models or Objects in Your Composite (Optimized) | SAP Help Portal and Customize Properties in Your Composites (Optimized) | SAP Help Portal as well as roadmap User experience upgrades for managing models and properties.
