Symptom
- Non-ASCII characters, including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters, are now able to be exported when exporting table to PDF in SAC optimized stories since 2025 QRC2 update
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.8
Resolution
- Since 2025 QRC2, when exporting a table to PDF in optimized stories, users are now able to select the option "Include Non-ASCII characters" so that Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters can be exported.
- Note that in addition to selecting the option, it is required to switch to the corresponding language in user's profile settings.
