3605724 - IAS Activation Email Not Redirecting Users to Application Home URL with applicationId provided

Symptom

  • When creating users in IAS via the SCIM API version 2: Identity Directory SCIM API or IPS(ias.api.version=2), the activation email does not redirect users to the application’s specified Home URL (mapping to applicationId).
    Instead, after completing activation, users are redirected to the User Profile Page (https://tenant.account.ondemand.com/ui/protected/profilemanagement).
      
  • Creating users directly from Admin Console > Users & Authorizations > User Management, selecting "Send Activation Email"

    After completing activation, new user is redirected to the User Profile Page (https://tenant.account.ondemand.com/ui/protected/profilemanagement).
    Even if the Home URL from the 'User Profile' has been changed to a different one.
