Symptom

  • Error "No such file or directory" encountered when trying to extract or rename files from Filezilla.
  • Issue occurs for specific folders in the iContent server.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to download or rename any file via Filezilla
  2. Encounter the error "No such file or directory".

Cause

The total length of the filename and its full path exceeds 255 characters, which is the maximum allowed by the iContent server for file path and name combined.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, shorten the file or folder names so that the total path length stays within the 255-character limit.
