Symptom
After upgrading the source IBM DB2 database and trying to resume the previously paused remote sources, log reader related errors are occurring. The presented errors are related to log access, or log parsing.
- Errors from DB2 Perspective:
- E. <Date_time> ERROR com.sybase.ra.lr.udb.RAULogScanner DB2 log read error - sqlcode <-1263>, errp <SQLPRLOG>, msg <...>
- E. <Date_time> ERROR com.sybase.ra.lr.udb.RAULogScanner LogReader encountered exception with unknown error: <Log read returned invalid sql code value: <-1263>.>. Don't know how to handle. Stopping Replication.
- E. <Date_time> ERROR com.sybase.ra.lr.udb.RAULogScanner java.lang.Exception: LogReader encountered exception with unknown error: <Log read returned invalid sql code value: <-1263>. Don't know how to handle. Stopping Replication.
- Errors from framework trace:
