3605938 - Details regarding 'Address Reference' in PO or Address type 'reference' in PR

Symptom

  • A new Address/Address Number is created whenever 'User Entry' is selected in the 'Delivery Address' tab during the creation of Purchase Requisitions (PR).
  • These entries become visible when other users create PRs and select 'Address Type' 'Reference'.
  • This results in an ever-increasing list of addresses, leading to duplicates and redundant address data.
