3606186 - SFTP Upload Fails with “timeout: socket is not established” Error in Subscription Connector

Symptom

A subscription connector that uploads or downloads data via SFTP fails with the following error message:

  • Internal Server Error  
    An internal server error occurred while running connector or subscription.  
    SshClient: Session cannot be established.  
    timeout: socket is not established

The issue is often isolated to a single transaction and does not repeat in subsequent runs.
