3606549 - Additional Info Data do not translate to User's Preferred Language

Symptom

When an User go to Additional Info tab on a quote, depending on the language set in User Page or User Setup, it can be seen that values are not being translated accordingly.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

Reproducing the Issue

  • Create a user, set it's language to other than English
  • Set Guest User Language to English
  • Open a Quote
  • Add some information to Additional Info Tab 
  • See that values are not being translated to user preferred language. 

Cause

Expected Behavior.

Resolution

  • Root Cause: Additional info field data is translated and inserted to database based on Guest user's preferred language
  • Workaround: Not available
  • ETA: Not yet provided.
