3606692 - Does custom based MDF object data from previous employment get mapped to new employment?

User has previous employment, will custom based MDF object data be transferred to the new employment?

MDF works based on the Employment (userID).

This means that each employment record will have its own MDF record. As long as the personID is linked to the old record, the MDF records will be available for the user to switch between employment records and have all the necessary permissions.

MDF does not currently support person-based records, which is a request from customers, but there are no plans to support it at the moment. 

Should you wish to see this behavior changed, please provide feedback to the Product Management team via the Influence Page where other customers will also have the opportunity to support your functionality request. All enhancement requests are reviewed by our Product Management team and, if successful, are developed and implemented in a future product release.
