Post release 1H 2025, it is noticed that for the compensation statement that was importable in Preview before the new release is giving a validation error now while importing. The statement can be previewed however, cannot be imported.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
- SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite 2505
Cause
As per the new release 1H 2025, the statement is validated when importing your custom compensation templates as an XSL in the statement editor. You will be unable to proceed with the import in case the file isn't a valid XSL template.
In the previous version, there was limited validation of the XSL file and a file with errors may be imported.
Resolution
As part of the compensation statement XSL template validation introduced in 1H 2025 release, validation checks are performed before importing the statement XSL template for XSL transformation encountering an error or fatal error.
The customer is expected to perform a thorough validation of the XSL template before uploading it. For the same a secure external website that helps in XSL Transformation validation can be used by the customer.
