3607019 - Show/ Hide People Selector Feature in Latest Goal Management - 1H 2025

This article explains the behavior change of the People Selector in latest goal management in H1 2025 release.

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management 

To enhance the user experience, the following improvements have been made. 

This change takes effect in the preview instance starting on May 14th. You will see the same behavior after the production release.

1. The People Selector panel now expands by default.

2. Users can hide or show the panel using the 'Show/Hide People Selector' button located in the top right corner.

3. The system retains the user's preference when they revisit the Goals page.

4. Users can also adjust the size of the People Selector panel using the splitter.

These enhancements are patched to the 1H 2025 release, so translations of the labels 'Show/ Hide People Selector' won't be available until the 2H 2025 release. Moreover, the language key for these labels won't be available until the 2H 2025 release, so at this time there is no workaround to customize the labels. 

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. To avoid the confusion caused by the label translation, the labels 'Show / Hide People Selector' will be removed completely with the patch M2505p2  (27-May-25 for preview; 29-May-25 for production) . 

2. After the button is completely removed, the people selector can not be closed or hidden. Users can only adjust the size of the People Selector panel using the splitter.
