3607486 - Custom Partner function of type KU is not showing in Define Partner Schemas in Purchasing Documents with error CZ327

Symptom

Error 'CZ327: Cannot use this partner role' occurs when try to add custom partner role into Procedure.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The partner role types can use in partner maintenance for the Vendor Master, Purchasing, and Arrangements areas are limited to 'LI' (Vendor) and 'PE' (HR Master Record), plus, in Retail Industry systems only, 'AP' (Contact Person).

Resolution

In SSCUI 102524 'Define Partner Schemas in Purchasing Documents', only the partner types LI, PE, and AP are supported. KU is not supported; this is a standard limitation.

To avoid this issue and add custom partner function in the schemas, please ensure this custom partner function is maintained as a supported partner type in SSCUI SSCUI 101286 'Set Up Partner Determination for Customer and Supplier Master'.
