3607499 - How to generate HAR log for Server-side Outlook Add-in on Chrome Browser

Symptom

  • HAR file is requested for investigation of issues related to the C4C Server-side Outlook Add-in.
  • How to generate a helpful HAR file on Chrome Browser?

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Cloud for Customer, Server-Side Integration for Microsoft Outlook
  • Chrome Browser

Resolution

  1. Access the web Outlook at https://outlook.office.com/mail
  2. Launch the developer tools and navigate to the Network tab.





  3. Open an email and launch the Add-in.



  4. Clear the log again to make sure there is no traces, and then reproduce the issue. After that, export and attach the HAR file to the support case.

*Note: please do not perform any other actions when you are reproducing the issue, in case capturing needless logs.
