3607875 - Workflow for Recurring and Reversing Journal Entries in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the journal entry workflow is not getting triggered for recurring or reversing journal entries.
  • Inquiry about the existence of a separate workflow for recurring or reversing journal entries in SAP.
  • Checker/approver (different from the maker) should be able to schedule and post these entries. 
  • In App Manage Recurring Journal Entries workflow not provided. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

It is standard by design.

Resolution

  1. Workflow available for Verify General Journal Entries only and not for recurring or reversing journal entries in SAP S4Hana public cloud.
  2. Please follow the KBA 2963059 and submit an influence request at the site https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign if you find that an existing influence request does not already exist. 
  3. If a customer influence request already exists feel free to vote on it so that this functionality might be included in future releases.
