3608120 - The background job was canceled because the language specified for the job is not activated in the instance.

Symptom

Although a specific language has been imported in transaction SMLT,

Jobs defined with that language are being canceled in a particular instance or system. Upon reviewing the job log, the following entries can be found:

- Job started
- Select one of the installed languages
- Job canceled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

Additionally, when scheduling the job step in transaction SM36, the specific language does not appear in the selection options in a particular instance or system.
