3608148 - "Missing Credentials" Error During SSO Login with IAS Integration

Symptom

  • "Missing Credentials" error message occurs when a Single Sign-On (SSO) user attempts to log in after the Identity Authentication Service (IAS) has been activated for a test system.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Activate IAS for the system.
  2. Attempt to log in as an SSO user.
  3. Error in above image occurs.

Cause

The issue arises because the third-party Identity Provider (IDP) is disabled in Provisioning, but it is still set as the Default Issuer. Consequently, the system redirects the information to the third-party IDP, causing the error.

Resolution

Request the implementation team or the support team to set the Default Issuer to IAS.

If there is no implementation team, open a ticket with the support team and provide the following information:

  1. Company ID
  2. Support access
