3608165 - ERROR in MPH or RNHD step: You can't proceed with the transfer because a future termination date for current employment doesn't exist in the system - Onboarding

While attempting to complete a Legal Entity Transfer in Manage Pending Hires (MPH) or Review New Hire Data(RNHD), an error message is encountered: "You can't proceed with the transfer because a future termination date for current employment doesn't exist in the system."

1. Navigate to Onboarding Dashboard > Review New Hire Data, or Manage Pending Hires > Onboarding.
2. Select the relevant rehire candidate record.
3. Scroll down and select "Continue".
4. The error message appears: "You can't proceed with the transfer because a future termination date for current employment doesn't exist in the system."

Expected behavior.

For a candidate to be hired as a "Rehire with Legal Entity Transfer", the candidate must have a future termination date.

For a candidate to be hired as a rehire with Legal Entity Transfer, the user must have an active future termination date. If this condition is not matched and the candidate is not hired before the future termination date, the error message will occur.

For example, if today is 10/20, this rehire must have a future termination date, like 10/21, in order to continue to be hired as "Rehire with Legal Entity Transfer". If the termination date of this rehire is 10/19, this error message will occur.
