3608226 - Inaccessibility of Assessable Value Field in Materials Master Data for Non-Indian Countries

Symptom

You want to add Assessable Value to the Material XXX in the Master Data for Non-Indian Countries (where XXX is the Material ID).

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Inventory Valuation work center.
  2. Go to Master Data View.
  3. Go to Materials sub view.
  4. Search for Material ID - XXX.
  5. Open the Material ID XXX and Click View All.
  6. Move to the Valuation tab.
  7. Select the relevant Company -YYYY and Set of Books - ZZZ (where YYYY is Company ID and ZZZ is Set of Books).
  8. Scroll down to find the Assessable Value field.

 Assessable field is not available.

Cause

  • The Assessable Value field is a localized field specific to India and is not available for other countries.
  • For example, if a Stock Transfer Order belongs to the UK, this field will not be visible.

Resolution

This is the standard design - "Assessable value" is country specific localized field available only for India.
