3608331 - Waitlist registration notification pop-up message has language inconsistency

Symptom

When subscribing to the waitlist of an class, a pop-up message appears for confirmation. The first line of the message is correctly translated to the active locale, but the second line remains in English and is not translated to specific locale:

  • "User Name, your position on the waitlist is X. A notification email will also be sent to user@email when a seat becomes available for you."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Learning >
  2. Subscribe to the waitlist of a class >
  3. Observe the pop-up message that appears for confirmation >
  4. It will show the second line in English and it is not translated to the active locale.

Cause

in the application, the Label ID: label.CourseHome.Class.WaitlistMessageStudEmail_legacy is being used. Theapplication should using the Label ID:label.CourseHome.Class.WaitlistMessageStudEmail instead. 

Resolution

This scenario has been investigated by the Engineering team and is targeted to be fixed via a code correction for the 2511 learning release. The dates of the following release will be posted in the Product Release & Road Map Information.
