    1. Access SAP Software Center
    2. Choose "By Category"
    3. Choose "Analytics Solutions"
    4. Choose "SBOP ANALYSIS MS OFFICE"*
    5. Choose "SBOP ANALYSIS MS OFFICE 2.8"
    6. Choose "SBOP ANALYSIS MS OFFICE 2.8" again
    7. Choose "COMPRISED SOFTWARE COMPONENT VERSIONS"
    8. Choose "ANALYSIS OFFICE CLIENT 2.8"
    9. Choose between "WINDOWS ON X64 64BIT" and "WIN32" options.
    10. Choose the most recently published version: AOFFICE28SP*.EXE and download it to your client machine
*In case the product options mentioned above are not available, it means there could be an issue with the license. For this, contact your SAP Account Manager as per KBA 2626344.
  2. Double-click the downloaded executable AOFFICE28SP*.EXE to launch the Installation Wizard.
  3. In the installation wizard, click Next
  4. In the next window, select the add-ins and options to be installed. For Analysis for Office, the options "Analysis plugin" must be selected. SAP recommends selecting option "Add-in is always active". The "Business Planning and Consolidation plugin" is a different add-in and is optional. The EPM add-in is a totally different SAP add-in, not related to Analysis for Office, but using the same installation program. Once the options are selected, click Next.
  5. Choose the destination folder or accept the default one, already filled in and click Next.
  6. Wait for the installation to be completed and click to Close the installation wizard.
  7. You should now be able to launch Analysis for Office via Windows Key and searching for "Analysis for Microsoft Excel"

In Control Panel, you should be able to see the installed program:
