Symptom
In the model there are different modeling objects (as e.g. tasks, lanes, IT systems) created using the respective dictionary items. Normally, when the dictionary entries are updated, the diagram is updated too. The title of one of the dictionary items has been adjusted, but there is no adjustment in the title of the connected item in the diagram.
Resolution
The issue is to be expected, when the data inherited from the dictionary was adjusted locally in the diagram. When a title, description or any other inherited attribute value is changed in the diagram, the system is warning the user: 'Attention! If you proceed, you will overwrite the attribute only for the current diagram. The linked dictionary item will not be changed.'.
The local change can be recognized in process modeller on the red color of the book symbol, which is shown at the right of an inherited attribute. By mouse over the book symbol, the information 'Attention: the attribute value defied by the linked dictionary item has been overwritten locally' is shown.
To revert the change, please relink the modeling object with the respective dictionary entry.
