3608646 - Tokens are not highlighted or selected in Rich Text Editor - Recruiting Management

This KBA covers a limitation in the new Rich Text Editor introduced as part of the 1H 2025 release.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

a. When you click on CTRL + A on the text body of the Rich Text Editor, all text except the tokens appear to be selected.

b. When you select or highlight a token, the token does not appear to be selected.

The tokens will not appear to be highlighted when you try to select them, but they are actually selected. When you paste it on a notepad, you will see that the tokens were copied. The same with selecting or highlighting the tokens and deleting them, they would still be deleted even if they appear to be not selected.

This is the current expected behavior of the new rich text editor. This will be considered for future enhancements. You can submit an Enhancement Request: 2090228 - How to Submit Ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Products.
