3608662 - Candidate Activity Feed Email Notifications Not Being Sent to Recruiting users - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Users do not receive the Activity Tracking notification even though they have followed the candidates and set the email frequency.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Follow a candidate.
  2. Go to Recruiting > Dashboard > Left corner Icon ( Settings) > Email Notification.
  3. Set Email Notifications Frequency to receive the Activity Tracking notification.
  4. Candidate performs an activity, such as applying a job requisition.
  5. No email notification is received by the user.

Resolution

The User Notification should be triggered when setting Email Notifications Frequency. Please refer to the KBA 2795361 - Activity Tracking and Dashboard - Recruiting Management .

When you set up an Email Notifications Frequency, there should be a job automatically created in Provisioning to send the email.
