3608923 - 1H2025 Release - Story Report shows error message when 'Preview Query' button is clicked while 'Form Section' is used in the report

Symptom

When 'Form section' object is selected from '360 Reviews' module in Story Report, this error appears if 'Preview Query' button is clicked:

"We found an error while creating the query in the database.
For assistance, please contact your administrator or the SAP Product Support team, if needed.

Correlation ID: ..."

When Form Section is removed the report is working fine.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core 2505

Reproducing the Issue

Create a new Story Report
Expand 360 review --> All Templates
Drag and drop Form object
Create a simple report like this: Form --> Participant --> Form section
Click on preview query to see error

Cause

HANA database issue is affecting SuccessFactors Story Reports.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed in SuccessFactors Environments with 1H2026 release on 13-Apr-2026 for Preview and on 14-May-2026 for Production environments.

Workaround

Please follow the below steps as a workaround for the issue:

Go to Provisioning (if you as a customer do not have access to Provisioning, ask your SAP Implementation Partner)
Search for 'Configurations for Stories in People Analytics'
Next, run the job 'Refresh Reporting Metadata'

Wait for 30 minutes and check if the issue has been resolved.
