3608978 - Conversion of Warning message to Error Message for Sales Document

• Order Quantities are allowed to change even after it is delivered in Sales Order.
• The expectation is for the system to throw an error instead of a warning, preventing the change when the order quantity is set lower than the already delivered quantity.
• Message V4083: "Item &1: Order quantity smaller than delivery quantity: &2 &3".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Change Sales Order - Version 2 App.
2. Change the Quantity of the line item which has been delivered fully.
3. The system will throw the warning message V4083.

The message has been set as a warning, not as an error.

1. Open the Implementation Activities App.
2. For Hierarchy SAP Business configuration: Sales -> Sales Business Portfolio -> Sell from Stock -> Sell Products from Your Own Stock -> Define Variable Message and Execute. Change the Message category as 'E' instead of 'W'.
