Uploading of data proceeds even if version start date is set

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD

1.The start date version property is set in the model 

2.Users upload data using that version with dates that are earlier than the set start date

3.The upload still proceeds

It's an expected behavior.

The purpose behind the start and end date of the version is that these properties are used by Data Actions and by the Rolling Forecast layout.

The Rolling Forecast layout uses SAC Version dimension properties to control the monthly display of columns.

The Version dimension properties StartDate, EndDate and CutOver and their values only control the display of columns, and they do not affect data uploads.
