3609094 - Logon failed for RESTful webservices while trying to logon to BILaunchpad due to Tomcat version

Symptom

  • Error seen in BI LaunchPad HAR file:
    HTTP 500 for /BOE/portal/2504301815/biprwsproxy/biprws/logon/internal/token
  • Error seen in the logs of BI LaunchPad webapp:
    java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: org.apache.tomcat.jni.SSL.getNextProtoNegotiated
  • It works only with HTTP;
  • It doesn't work when using HTTPS url;
  • The error is after login.
