3609148 - How to hide Global Information of previous employment in case of Rehire with New Employment - Employee Central

• During the rehire of an employee or performing a Global Assignment where the employee is changing countries, the personal and global information is being carried forward as it is a shared portlet between employments;
• Deleting this data results in the data being removed from the old profile as well.

1. Perform a rehire of an employee or a Global Assignment where the employee is changing countries;
2. Check Personal and Global Information has been propagated from previous employment. 

In case of multiple employments (Concurrent, Global assignment and Rehire with New employment) Personal and Global Information is common across employments.

This is currently how system is designed to keep consistency across all employments.

In case the previous Personal and Global Information should not be visible within new employment profile, one alternative is to restrict View History permission. To do so, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Manage Permission Roles > Select a role;
2. Search for Employee Central Effective Dates Entities > Personal Information Actions;
3. Unselect "View History" > Save.
