3609467 - Error F5903 "Posting period &1 &2 not open for variant &4 and ledger &3" in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The error message F5903 "Posting period &1 &2 not open for variant &4 and ledger &3" is displayed when posting order confirmation in the APP 'Reprocess Errors in Actual Costs (COFC)'.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access the APP 'Reprocess Errors in Actual Costs (COFC)'.
2. Run for Order
3. Double click the error records to view the log - F5903 "Posting period &1 &2 not open for variant &4 and ledger &3"

"CO Periods: 
Period control for journal entry posting triggered from controlling (CO) business transactions or processes, such as allocating or distributing expense from one department to another. You must manage journal entry triggers from CO business transactions in CO-Related Periods.If you make an entry for CO-Related Periods, the check on journal entry postings is only made against CO-Related Periods. If you do not maintain any values in CO-Related Periods, the check on journal entry postings is made against Normal Periods and Adjustment Periods. " 

Here is the following solution in Manage Posting Periods app.

• Either delete your entries for CO related periods, 
• or keep the CO related periods in the Manage Posting Periods app current

After correct the period settings, reprocess the order confirmation via APP 'Reprocess Errors in Actual Costs (COFC)' following steps in How to Start a New Costing Run'.
