Symptom

  • The system fails to connect to the Employee Central Payroll system during Exports, resulting in a BSI fatal error.
  • The error message displayed is "Employee data failed to export. Fatal error. Unable to communicate with server myXXXXX.payroll.ondemand.com: Client#: XXX."
  • No tax data is being transferred to the Employee Central Payroll (ECP) system, and this error occurs even when forcing an export from BSI.
  • Message present in the T-Code SRTUTIL Error Log mentioning the Filing Status "Error during access to the ref node 'FILING_STATUS'. The ref node is not defined or does not have the necessary type
