Symptom
This KBA covers a known error in the new Rich Text Editor introduced as part of the 1H 2025 release.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Manage Job Posting Header and Footer.
- Apply a font style and size on the header or footer, e.g., Arial 12.
- Go to a requisition and select the target updated header or footer.
- The selected header or footer will appear to have a different style or size, e.g., Verdana 8 or Arial 8.
Cause
The Manage Job Posting Header and Footer is still utilizing the legacy editor, while the job requisition headers and footers use the new Rich Text Editor.
Resolution
This has been initially deemed as expected due to the difference in behavior of the editor versions.
Manage Job Posting Header and Footer utilizes the legacy editor which has a default font and size option, while the job requisition headers and footers, much like all the other rich text fields in Recruiting, utilizes the new Rich Text Editor which does honor the default font and size option from legacy.
