3610259 - VAT Return Created in Aggregation Mode is Missing the XML Tax File for Electronic Submission

No XML file has been generated for a VAT Return created based on VAT Return Run with Aggregation control parameter.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Tax Management work center.
2. Go to the VAT Returns view.
3. Find and open the respective tax return ID, with status Completed and Tax Return Category Aggregation.
4. Open the Attachments tab.
5. Notice that there's no attachment ('No records found' message is displayed).

When executing a VAT Return Run with Aggregation Run control parameter ticked, system will only create a XML file for the resulting VAT Return if, after releasing the tax return (status Reported) the button Actions -> Create Aggregated File is clicked.

After the creation of the VAT Return, when the VAT Return has Status Reported, the Create Aggregated File button should be clicked, as follows:

1. Go to the Tax Management work center.
2. Go to the VAT Returns view.
3. Find the respective tax return ID, with status Reported and Tax Return Category Aggregation.
4. Click Actions -> Create Aggregated File.

As a result, an XML file is created and available in the Attachments tab of the respective tax return.
