3610695 - Goods Receipt: Number of Labels for Printing

• In the APP: "Material documents overview", for Goods Receipt (GR) of Purchase Order material documents, an error occurs when the GR quantity exceeds 10000 units.
• The error message displayed is "Rendering of document via service ADS failed. ADS: Processing Exception: Max allowed size exceeded for XFD(200.101)".
• This issue prevents the proper printing of GR labels when the quantity is large (for example, 20000 or 50000).
• Customer wants to print only 1 label for the GR material document,  no matter what the GR Quantity is.

1. Post a GR for a Purchase Order(Inbound delivery) with a quantity exceeding 10000 units.
2. In the "Material documents overview" APP, attempt to print the GR labels, got the error. 

1. The ADS error was triggered by the size restriction of the label form in the ADS service.

• Checking the master data of the material in the Material document: tab : Plant data/stor.1 > General data > Label type/Lab.form as below:

Here is the explanation of different settings for Label type/form, this setting decided the count of labels referring which quantity: Quantity in Unit of Entry/Base Unit/Purchase Order Price Unit)

• For this case, the printing count is using Quantity in Unit of Entry,30000/50000, which is too large (the bigness of a form is restricted) & triggered the error, failed the label printing.

• The number of labels to be printed can be set manually using SSCUI 103831 "Field Selection per Movement Type".
• The field "NROFLABELS" can be inserted/activated, allowing the manual entry of the number of labels:

• Additionally, the "Number of Copies" can be set in the "Output Parameter Determination">Printer Settings.  For example, if the Number of labels is set as 50 manually and "Number of Copies" is set as 100, one print would only contain 50 labels, thus preventing the restriction, and this would be printed 100 times.
• For this case, customer wants only 1 label printed, setting the "Number of labels" & "Number of Labels" both to 1 will work.
