How to delete Document Types  in configuration Define Document types? 

After clicking delete button, some message pops up:

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• These document types  were created and used in the system, which resulted in many documents of these types existing in the ACDOCU table.
• These document types were also assigned to some Tasks, like 2050 in Configuration Define Tasks for Manual Posting.

1. Unassign the document types from related manual posting Tasks or reclassification tasks.
2. Find all documents of types in the system in the Display Group Journal Entries app.
3. Report an new incident to SAP for step 2 deletion.

Note:  If your document types are transferred from source system. You need to delete it in the source system first. If  this document types have been used in target system, you need to delete it first as well.

Deleting Document Types

You can only delete document types that you've created. However, you can only delete them if they're not being used in the system's configuration settings or in transaction data in the system or subsequent system.

The deletion can be done in SSCUI 104665 Define Document Types
