3611260 - User receives a .ics attachment when a time slot is deleted from a class

When a class is cancelled, the users receive the time slot cancelation with an .ICS attachment instead of the expected VCAL attachment received when they register for the class.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Register for a class with several timeslots >
2. Receive the confirmation and calendar invites as VCAL attachments >
3. An admin deletes one timeslot on class level >
4. Users receives new confirmation with updated agenda AND a .ics cancellation for the deleted timeslot (this should be a VCAL invite for the cancelled time slot).

The Engineering team has investigated this scenario and identified it as a system defect.

The fix for this scenario is planned to be delivered on the 2H2025 release (b2511 version). Additional details are available in the following links: Product Release & Road Map Information | SAP SuccessFactors - Patch Details.
