3611373 - Authorization Error when Accessing "Enable Generation of Bank Account Unique IDs" in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • An error message "No authorization to start the UI for transaction S_ER1_70001437" is displayed when trying to access the application "Enable Generation of Bank Account Unique IDs" from CBC.
  • The issue occurs when trying to access SSCUI 106994.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enter CBC
  2. Access "Starter Customizing" workspace
  3. Access Configuration
  4. Search for SSCUI 106994
  5. Encounter the "No authorization to start the UI for transaction S_ER1_70001437" error.

Cause

The issue is caused by a missing IAM App assignment in the business role after a hotfix.

Resolution

  1. Go to App Maintain Business Roles.
  2. Search for the business role assigned with the business catalog "SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_FIN_CM0_PC".
  3. Press Edit button on the Business role.
  4. In the General Role Description, edit the role description and save.
