3611412 - Sales Campaigns Not Sending Attachments From Attachments Tab

Symptom

You are working with sales campaigns and you noticed that the files in Attachments tab of it are not being sent with the e-mails.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales Campaigns work center.
  2. Open the Campaigns view.
  3. Open campaign ABC (where ABC is the ID of a campaign with Planned status).
  4. Go to the Attachments tab.
  5. You notice DEF files (where DEF is a file).
  6. Go to the Actions button and select Activate.

In the e-mails sent you do not see DEF attached.

Cause

Sending campaign e-mails with attachments is not part of the standards of the product.

Resolution

The attachments tab purpose is for user organization of campaign only, internal. At some point actions like 'export list' used to create files there.
