3611462 - Customer-specific redetermination of the accounting year in a reversal account in Risk Manager requires a redetermination of the treaty period and dependent data

Symptom

The transfer of a Risk Manager account to Basic System terminates. The program issues an error message about a missing structural characteristic coverage. For example: "Account <account number>: Class of business <class of business> is not covered in section (<section>)".

  • A proportional account is being transferred to Basic System. This account has an assignment to a 100% reversal account with the accounting function "RMRCR" - Risk Manager: Retro Adjustment Reversal (099).
  • The posted treaty section has the accounting mode "Accounting Year".
  • The generated reversal accounts have a redetermined accounting year. The accounting year of the reversal accounts differs from the accounting year of the reversed accounts. The new accounting year of the reversal accounts was determined in the customer-specific implementation of the GET_BILJJ_BUJJ method of BAdI interface /MSG/IF_EX_N_A_ACC_BADI.
  • The structural characteristic coverage in the treaty period of the reversal posting differs from the structural characteristic coverage of the treaty period in the reversed posting.
