3611647 - Incorrect Department Name in Permission Group Filter

Symptom

  • In Manage Permission Groups, the Dynamic Group Filter for Department shows an incorrect label.
  • In the Permission Group filters, the correct external code is displayed, but the wrong label appears during the search. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Permission Groups
  2. Edit/Create a group
  3. Edit the People Pool by selecting Job Information > Department.
  4. Enter the External Code of a department.
  5. Observe the label shown in the search results is that of the parent department, not the department corresponding to the entered external code.
  6. By leaving page and entering back, it shows correct name

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.
